Reasons Why You Should Choose Bespoke Design
Once you have contacted us for an appointment, we will arrange a suitable date to meet at your home. This first meeting is for us to listen and understand your ideas for your new orangery. We will offer advice so you are aware of what’s involved in this new project.
For the majority of our customers, this is a new one-off experience. Most people have little knowledge of what is involved when it comes to building an orangery, so they look to us for guidance and advice. We will help you choose the correct materials and glazing for all-year-round use, heating and cooling for all seasons and most importantly, the internal layout of your new room.
Your designer will collaborate closely with you to create an exceptional design unique to your property and in line with your budget for the project. We understand and know from experience that your new room will become a wonderful space for you and your family to enjoy all year round. Once we have gone through your ideas and questions, the last part is for your designer to take all necessary measurements in order to finalise the drawings and quotation.

About
What's Next?
The information gathered at the first meeting will enable us to move on to the design stage and create your new orangery. Your design will go through two phases.
Your designer will create initial concept drawings. These will be passed into the design office, where architectural drawings are created. They will also include a full written specification and the final quotation for your orangery.
The last part of your portfolio is for our CGI team to create your internal and external visuals to bring your project to life. Your design portfolio will be ready for a second meeting to discuss the project.

Moving Forward
If you have taken the next step and wish to move forward with Bespoke Design for your new orangery, you will need a second home visit with our architectural surveying team; this essential survey takes a full day on-site. After the survey is complete, we will prepare detailed working drawings for your building team, which is required to carry out the preparatory work prior to the installation of your new orangery or extension.
After the survey, you may need some of the following permissions to be allowed to build:
- Planning Permission
- Listed Building Consent
- Structural Calculations
- Building Regulations Approval
- Energy Test
Don’t worry about this we handle all these legal requirements for you with our own team of experts. On completion of your project, a completion certificate from building control will be issued with your guarantee, along with our maintenance guidance for the structure.
